We’re making our seasonings now instead of using your packaged seasoning, which is for preservatives and salt, and who knows what’s in there. So we’re going to make our own, and I’ll guarantee you it’s going to be a lot better than us. So we’re going to start with two tablespoons of chili powder and always add or subtract. And then we’re going to put ground cumin and love cumin.

00:00:27:01 – 00:00:34:00

See where it is. Right here it is. And we’re going to about two teaspoons of ground cumin in here.

00:00:36:21 – 00:01:03:41

This is a good thing to have on hand. You know, during the work day. You don’t know what to have. It’s a quick meal to have is tacos and the kids love them. Next, we’re going to do black pepper. I’m going to do teaspoon of black pepper, one teaspoon of that. So if I was going to do all these little pinch balls, want to mix it all in one container.

00:01:05:32 – 00:01:44:39

Now we’re going to do one teaspoon of salt. I generally use half that amount. I’m not a real big salt person. Again, you can adjust this to whatever you want. So I’m just going to do my half teaspoon and a teaspoon of paprika. I usually put more paprika and then it costs four. Really? Like the color of the paprika.

And paprika really doesn’t add a lot. I need some heaping teaspoons of that teaspoon of garlic powder. I do this. My garlic powder. I got this big container garlic powder. So we’re trying to do one teaspoon of that right now. I open up the wrong side. Actually, I’m going to take this off. We keep a big container of garlic powder on here because we like our garlic one teaspoon at that onion powder.

And you don’t have to be exact. Like I said, I don’t. A lot of times I don’t measure you pinch of this, a pinch of that. You’re going to have some red pepper. I actually have some cayenne. I use that instead. And I’m very frugal with that. And I’m just going to like just put a dash of that in so I don’t make it real spicy myself.

And then a half a teaspoon of America. Now, I put a little more in of the original, and that’s all she wrote on that. You just mix those all together. You stored in an airtight jar and just kind of dump this right into this jar, just. Just let on. And I’m kind of shake it up and bother with the stirring and everything.

00:03:58:06 – 00:04:21:41

You just shake it up. And this is enough for one serving of your tacos. Let’s keep the jar of this on hand. Okay? Already made up. So it’s always good to go. And it’s just like what you buy in the packet. But it’s a lot better for you. No, no. The preservatives that you have to worry about, all the chemicals they put in this stuff.

00:04:21:41 – 00:04:23:49
Speaker 1
So. So that’s your taco seasoning.
