Mission Statement
I look at this as a movement to learn how control the way we spend and waste money and of how we waste the food we buy.
Bev’s Snapshot
- Born in York, Pennsylvania -December 1951
- Oldest of nine children – 7 brothers and 1 sister. No leftovers there!
- Lived in Pennsylvania – married and divorced twice until I met my Canadian husband and moved to Canada at the age of fifty.
- Now a permanent resident of Florida along with my husband
- 2 daughters and 1 grandson in Pennsylvania
- 2 stepdaughters and 1 stepson, 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons in Canada
- Taught myself to cook at the age of 18 and at around age 25, I really got creative with my cooking and using leftovers to create really great meals.
- My husband and myself probably eat out maybe once every 2 months…Why eat out when the meals we cook taste so much better? And it costs less!…and yes, I use any leftovers for other meals
